Have your say at the Active Neighbourhoods workshop aimed at improving accessibility across the city

Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP) have organised an online workshop on Wednesday the 28th July to air the views of communities. The organisation needs participants from Hulme and other areas to ensure all of Greater Manchester is represented.

The workshop, that takes place tomorrow at 6pm, will invite people to air their concerns about accessibility and moving safely around Manchester.

GMCDP said: “This workshop will provide an overview on the project, give you the opportunity to share your thoughts on accessibility and how to get involved in your local neighbourhood project to help co-design accessible solutions for your community.”

The organisers particularly want to uplift the voices of those with physical or other disabilities to co-design communities in Manchester that work for everyone. The workshop tomorrow is fully accessible and online, as part of the Bee Network plan. The ten year plan details how Manchester can be made safer for people on foot, bikes and wheelchairs.

Have your say tomorrow.
